Baby Suffers from Rare Meningitis

What could have caused a newborn baby to get a rare form of meningitis called Proteus Meningitis?

Only days after coming home from the hospital the baby girl was rushed to emergency suffering from a high fever. The diagnosis was so rare that the federal CDC was called in to help make the diagnosis after a spinal tap.

Meningitis has destroyed the baby’s brain and is shutting down her kidneys.

The community has rallied and is hosting a walk-a-thon to help the young couple pay for some of the medical bills.

Everyone is praying for a miracle.

Has your doctor or hospital failed to properly diagnose meningitis? Are you eligible for a meningitis lawsuit?
