Police chief died from meningitis

News of the autopsy of a robust, full-of-life musician turned police chief reveals that he died of meningitis. Meningitis is a bacterial or viral infection that inflames the membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord. Meningitis can be spread through fluids, coughing, and sneezing. Consider meningitis contagious.

The police chief was caring for a sick family member at the time.

The musician turned police chief was an avid motorcycle rider, family man, and diabetic. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
